Vegan Mango Lassi (no sugar added)

Mango lassi is a creamy, indulging drink that you can enjoy in most Asian restaurants in Berlin. I preffer it next to Indian food, but sometimes when I don’t want to go out I can easily prepare it at home – it takes about 15 minutes and another 3 to drink it 🙂

I serve it as a dessert or as a snack. It’s a convenient smoothie for lazy morning when you want to drink something sweet without adding sugar.

What do I need for it?

  • 2 ripe mangos
  • 200 ml rice milk (unsweetened)*
  • mixer

*quantities for 2 portions

Where do I start?

First, peel the mangos and cut into pieces. The size doesn’t matter as long as they are really ripe: they will basically “melt” when the engine starts. Then, pour the vegan milk into the mixer.

Mix for 30 seconds or, depending on the power of the engine, it might need slightly more time.

Pour into 2 glasses and serve.

Enjoy!
